The photojournalism cooperative VII has accepted Danish photographer Joachim Ladefoged as its 10th member.
The decision was made this past week as the VII photographers gathered in New York for their annual meeting. After reviewing about 80 portfolios, Ladefoged was the only photographer asked to join. Former Magnum nominee Ladefoged has won numerous awards for his reportage pieces in Europe and the Middle East. He also had a brief stint with AgenceVu.
